Kate’s communications experience spans corporate relations, public affairs, and advertising. She is ready to craft your strategy and tell your story, no matter the goal or audience—whether seeking to move the needle on a policy issue or targeting consumers. Kate joined ASC in the summer of 2024.
A Tar Heel at heart, Kate received her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University. She has worked at the North Carolina General Assembly and the U.S. Senate. Simplifying complex issues is a passion of hers. No issue is too big or too small.
Kate returned to North Carolina after spending several years working in advertising in New York City, where she learned how to effectively market a range of brands from luxury fashion to financial institutions. Kate is glad to be back home where people say “y’all” again. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her two-year-old daughter, English bulldog named Pudgy and staying active with her husband.
