The summer of 2022 has continued to be a time of growth for ASC. This month, we welcome our newest team member and Communications Account Manager, Mae Young! Mae will be a key driver of all things media relations for both our company and clients. Her past experience with donor, investor and media relations have her primed to make a positive public relations impact for our clients’ communication strategies.
Mae comes to ASC after spending time in the non-profit, higher education, and private equity sectors. Mae considers herself a proponent of thoughtful and effective communication and has always been passionate about helping others. She is very attuned to clients’ needs and goes out of her way to understand their goals, pain points, and expectations. Her ability to analyze a problem and find the best solution goes beyond communication. She enjoys streamlining processes for the betterment of an organization. Mae has an appreciation for data technology and how it can be leveraged to produce results.

Aside from working at my family’s chiropractic office, my first job was at Keva Juice as a shift manager making smoothies when I was 16 yo, and not the kind with the syrup, real organic fruit!

How do you balance career and family?
By trying to stay organized and planning my schedule a week in advance.

So many – but Oreo has been a constant favorite for sure.
What motivates you in life?
Being the best version of myself because that’s why my grandparents uprooted their families and moved to the US, to give us all the opportunities the world has to offer.
Favorite way to write – paper, laptop, talk to text?
When I am writing content — laptop. When I am taking notes — paper and a pen.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you?
Arabic was my first language and I am still fluent.
