welcome to the team Kendall Finley!

Kendall Finley joined ASC as a Digital Account Executive in fall 2024. She recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s in Advertising and Public Relations. Before coming to ASC, she gained valuable experience in digital marketing and copywriting as a Social Media Coordinator for real hot yoga.

Kendall thrives on organization, creativity, and effective communication. Her passion for writing and storytelling is what drew her to this field.

Help us officially welcome Kendall to the team, and get to know her in these 20 questions. It’ll be fun! 🙂

Do you go by any other names than Kendall? Nicknames?

I mostly go by Kendall, but some of my friends call me Ken!

What’s your favorite social media platform?

TikTok or YouTube! I have a love for both long-form and short-form content.

Where did you graduate from College?

I graduated from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!)

What was your first job?

My first job was a cashier at Zaxby’s! I worked throughout the rest of high school and college in food-service jobs to pay my way through school.

What is your favorite media source?

Currently… also TikTok.

Do you prefer podcasts, audiobooks or music?

I will always be a music girl to my core, but I enjoy listening to podcasts on walks. My current favorite podcast is On My Mind by Ava Jules!

Where is your favorite place to be or vacation spot?

On any beach or near any body of water! I was born in south Florida and loved going to Lake Worth Beach growing up, so it would be nice to go back to my childhood beach!

What is your favorite line from a movie?

“Every rejection, every disappointment has led you here to this moment.” – Alpha Waymond, Everything Everywhere All At Once

That movie is a MUST watch if you haven’t seen it before!

How did you hear about Anna Stallmann Communications?

I found ASC through a LinkedIn job listing and sent over an email with my resume, cover letter, and portfolio. The more research I did on the company, the more excited I got as I worked through the interview process!

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Pottery or rug-making! I would love to be able to create my own set of dishes from scratch and make little handmade gifts for my friends and family.

What is something new you learned in the last week?

How to set up a MoCA adapter to convert coax cables into an ethernet connection for your computer! There’s no convenient way to run ethernet cables to my desk upstairs, but there is a coax connection so that process allows for a stable internet connection.

If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be?

If it was possible, I would love to have lunch with my grandparents one last time. They both passed around peak-COVID, when my family wasn’t able to travel out of state to see them.

Do you have any pets?

I’ve never had any pets (besides a fish) but I absolutely adore cats and dogs! My dream pet would either be a black cat or an Australian Shepherd.

You have 30-minutes of free-time, what do you do?

Go on a walk around the neighborhood with some nice music or fit a quick pilates video in at home!

How do you strike a good work-life balance?

Having an intentional before and after work routine helps me get into and out of the work mindset! It’s also been helpful to set most notifications to snooze during non-working hours so I can rest and recharge.

What is your favorite genre of music?

I am a big fan of video game soundtracks if that counts as a genre? I love listening to music from games like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Fez, Celeste, Deltarune, and other games when I work.

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

Anything caramel flavored (sea salt, dulce de leche, etc.) but absolutely no chocolate!

What motivates you in life?

Making my parents proud and following the standard for hard work that they have modeled throughout my entire life.

Favorite way to write – paper, laptop, talk to text?

For most things, I love to type. I have a really nice sounding mechanical keyboard that I love to type with. However, when I’m planning things out I usually prefer to write it down somewhere.

Tell us something that might surprise us about you?

I performed at the 2021 Gasparilla Bowl in Tampa, FL and the 2022 Military Bowl in Annapolis, Maryland with the UCF Marching Knights! I am a huge college-football fan and loved getting to spin with the Starlet Knights colorguard.
